Hub Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms describe the arrangement between you and the writers of Pescadores Galapagos Tech Hub when you read, share or quote the site. Using the site means you accept them. They are short because the site is simple: articles to read, nothing to buy, no accounts to manage.
What the articles are
Everything published here is general information written to help readers understand technology and the everyday topics around it. It is not tailored to your device, your business, your policy or your country, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional. Articles in the Insurance, Real estate, Biz and Corporate sections in particular describe how things commonly work; decisions about cover, contracts, property or money should be made with someone who can look at your own circumstances.
Your responsibility when following steps
Settings, menus and rules change, and devices differ. Before changing a setting, deleting data, reinstalling software or opening a garden light, make sure anything important is backed up and that you are comfortable with the step. The writers cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage arising from how an article is applied, to the extent the law allows such a limitation.
Accuracy and updates
Pages are checked before publication and revised when problems are noticed, as described on How the Hub Works. Even so, no page can promise to be complete or current at every moment. If you find an error, the corrections page explains how to report it.
Companies, products and links
Articles sometimes name businesses, products or services and may link to their websites. Naming something is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, and we have no control over sites we link to, their content or their privacy practices. Check terms, prices and reviews yourself before buying.
Copyright and quoting
The text, layout and graphics of this site belong to its writers. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a clear credit and a link to the original page. Republishing whole articles, or large parts of several, needs written permission first; ask at inbox@pescadoresdegalapagos.org.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, probe it for weaknesses or copy it wholesale. Ordinary reading, bookmarking, sharing links and printing pages for personal use are all fine.
Privacy
How the site treats personal data, and the rights you have, are set out on Privacy on the Hub.
Changes
The wording here can change as the hub grows. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated wording.
